First off, you never need to apologize for not posting regularly. Quality matters more than quantity, and I’m already overwhelmed with too many Stacks so actually appreciate when writers don’t bombard my inbox with constant posts.

Secondly, for your article on modern anarchy, you may wish to explore Nevermore Media. I just got Crow (the founder) to join Substack (https://nevermoremedia.substack.com/). The main website (https://nevermore.media/) has the full catalogue of articles, but I recommend signing up for their Substack as that will be the primary avenue for communicating with readers.

The contributors (https://nevermoremedia.substack.com/p/uniting-the-last-real-anarchists) include Paul Cudenec (Winter Oak Press), Iain Davis (In This Together), Mark Crispin Miller, The Stirrer, Jordan Henderson, John Duffy, and me :-) I don’t do labels so don’t call myself an anarchist, but I find I am aligned with these writers on many values—most notably being anti-tyranny/pro-freedom. Crow is also in touch with some additional high-profile writers who may be joining as contributors soon. It’s quite a high-caliber group of thinkers, and I’m honored to be associated with them.

My grandmother told me they dried fruits on their tin roof. Didn’t say how they kept the critters away. I just got a stack of 5 similar books in today! Lol and found some oil burning lanterns and oil. My power went out a few nights ago, but my old oil lamp wouldn’t light because the wick was , so I ordered some the next day along with lots of other stuff that seems useful.

I had thought of a new dehydrator, but I could probably use my oven. Will check out the book you got.

I look forward to the anarchy piece. Anarchism has been the only ism that resonated with me. There used to be pockets of anarchists in my

youth, in the lower east side if 80s-early 90s NYC. Not just the punk rock-A- aesthetics but actual shops, zines, and an actual Anarchist Switchboard. It guided some of our squats etc but I never expected it to make inroads among the normies, so I kind of left it behind. I was glad to encounter some of its ideas treated seriously in “Sons of Anarchy”. But the public doesn’t like stuff they have to do- i.e. put effort into. And anarchy means taking great responsibility. Cut out the middleman, don’t accept a ruler, and guess who has to do it all? Right! You, me, everybody! Perhaps a societal reorganization of values will take hold and selling self reliance with interdependence on a societal scale won’t seem so “out there”. I can’t imagine I will live to see it but then again, I never imagined I’d live to see this!

Dehydrated tomatoes are the way to go! And dehydration is the only way to preserve kale.

Last year I tried dehydrating watermelon. The flavor is intense and almost like candy. It takes longer due to the high water content but is totally worth it.

I find myself believing that each generation gets to decide for the next, sort of the old idea of generational blessing and curses. I think each of us, individually, decide that which comes next. Most are on autopilot, non-entities of sorts, but the battle rages on each generation between LIGHT-TRIAD vs DARK-TRIAD types (faithful vs. faithless), which determines the fate of this reality. While eventually a generation fails and allows for a bio-tech modulation of humanity, it does not have to be this generation; however this potential fate (revelation 13) is left up to us; they want the world; do we give it to them?

Began my own around 30 yrs ago with a book called “ the traditional healer” by hakim G.M. Chisti N.D. He and his wife had problems with their health while in Afghanistan, went to traditional doctor and were sold.... so he studied with him (as far as I recall) and wrote this book, even teaches you how to pulse read in it..gives great insights into how your body works......I ended up here....with medicalmedium - I’ve mentioned him earlier -after Edgar Cayce etc, etc....(all in the backlog of course)....
