My Business Was Shut Down Two Months Later

I had no public presence in 2020. In fact, I actively avoided it. I had a private Facebook account with no public posts, no YouTube channel, and a Twitter account with a few dozen followers. My Twitter account might have also been private at the time (I can’t remember, but I almost never posted there).

I’ve been interested in medical freedom for 10 years, and, as an extension, food freedom, for 15 years. But more fundamentally, I’ve just been into regular old freedom for an even longer time.

In early 2020 I saw strong parallels between the suppression of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to the previous historical suppression of various cancer treatments such as laetrile, vitamin C infusions, Coley’s toxins, and so on, and I sought to make people aware of that by granting a good friend of mine an interview on her podcast.

I wasn’t that keen to appear on this podcast or to adopt any sort of public role because I thought it could endanger my ability to continue my business producing Coley’s toxins in New Zealand. Besides that, I’m naturally a bit shy (although I think you can see from the video that I have a strong sense of justice).

As it turns out, I might have been right. I gave this interview in early August 2020. My medicine manufacturing business was shut down only two months later, without a single visit to my laboratory from any regulatory official at Medsafe.

I repeat: my laboratory was never visited or cited for safety by any regulatory official or anyone else.

It was purely procedural, if that. It might even have been illegal, but the regulator at that time was likely gambling on the premise that I did not have the resources to defend myself, my business, and my customers — who depended on me for life-saving medicine — against his command.

I’ve been friends with Sunny Lohmann, the host of House of Sunny and SunnyTV, for 15 years. In the past couple of days I got curious and went looking for my interview on House of Sunny on YouTube to find that it was gone. Sunny and I talked this morning. Sunny found that it had been deleted by YouTube after only 650 views. I’m not sure exactly when this happened. The interview is still on Facebook, amazingly. (We’ll see how long it stays up. She has said she’ll also upload it to Rumble.)

What amazes me about this is that a video by basically two nobodies was removed after only 650 views. Isn’t that interesting?

I haven’t re-watched this video in three years. I’m sure I make some statements that now seem foolish or naive given what we now know (i.e. masks or the mRNA vaccines which wouldn’t be rolled out for another 5-6 months).

I do think the part where I wag my finger at establishment stooge Amesh Adalja is fun. Maybe that’s what got the video banned.

But let’s leave all of the following differences aside for the moment:

virus vs. no virus; pandemic vs. no pandemic; pharmaceuticals vs. natural modalities

Wherever you stand on those things, and we all have strong opinions at this point, here are the things that I think that true freedom advocates should be uninterested in:

-banning of any substance, so long as force or fraud are not used

-suppression of speech we disagree with through laws and litigation (outside of very specific incitement to violence)

This knocks a lot of people off the list. In my opinion. Freedom is messy. I guess that’s why a lot of people don’t like it.

Sunny and I were censored at under 1000 views. It’s an interesting contrast with other videos in the “medical freedom movement” — such as it is — that remain on YouTube, some with hundreds of thousands or even millions of views (even if demonetized).

Isn’t it?

I’ll write at a later date and in more detail about how Coley’s toxins were stopped in New Zealand, only two months after the production of this video. Perhaps I’ll make public the official statement I provided to Medsafe in roughly January or February 2020.
