My suspicion is that Musk tweets out libertarian-sounding stuff to keep people off-guard about his true motives. I can't prove it, but I don't trust him at all. 50% of the animals he implants with the brain chips die and he wants us to believe he's going to put them there to cure disease. We must look really stupid. Too much weird stuff going on with this guy, which I briefly touched on in these 2 posts:
I remember that post. I too am paranoid about the elimination of books. My wife and I have a house full of books.
I also liked the reference to the Wall-E film. I doubt Disney would make that film today. It's too close to home. One of the things I liked about that film was the name of the space ship home of humans - "Axiom". Which of course is an assumption taken to be true that serves as a basis for further reasoning. Change an axiom, and the whole construct built above it changes, sometimes drastically. The humans on the ship just accept the axiom that they are to be taken care of by robots and have no agency of their own.
I think that our basic axioms of life (men as adult males, women as adult females, marriage, family, nations with borders, and on and on...) are being changed and the result is chaos. Of course this is being done purposefully.
I used to feel the same way about Musk but as time has gone by I don't think he is one of the bad guys. Some of the things (such as stealing from the poor to help the rich buy his cars) only happens because governments love giving him money. He has been openly supportive of the Canadian Truckers. The things I didn't like about him are related more to government stupidity. I actually hope that he does make a difference at Twitter (Note I don't have a Twitter account).
Look up the term 'Judas Goat', it's a concept common in subversion techniques . They get you to like them, maybe even trust them, then you follow them over the cliff.
You may well be right. But at least at the moment I no longer put Bill Gates and Elon Musk in the same category. Right now I am happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. But it is right to stay vigilant.
Just remember, Bill Gates was a great guy not so long ago, saving the world from disease with his foundation. Once exposed, the next Messiah has to step up.
WEF is just a shepherding operation, Musk deals directly with their bosses. Coincidentally, Bermas just released short views on Musk. worth a watch for perspective.
As a general: no one, no one, can become this rich without appeasement of "them". No one. Not even Warren Buffett.
Watch a video of a former Dutch banker - and he was not even that rich. The part that stuck in my mind was that as he became successful in finance, "they" noticed him and contacted him! His life had not been the same since.
My older son thinks he is a "genius" I know plenty of men personally who are much brighter then he is but obviously weren't selected to play a role in this school play. I have been permanently banned from twitter so maybe i can complain to him.
Thank you- some sense! I am so sick of Musk as saviour. He’s like Fauci for libertarians. He says some things that sound cool- sure. But how ya living? He doesn’t hide his agenda. He probably wants data for more AI training. Its a sad reflection of where we are: people are so starved for a noble leader that “sayin’ some stuff” is enough to dive into fanboy syndrome. Or had it always been like that and I wasn’t paying attention? Could be.
Yes! For me, the ‘tell’ was an old picture of him with a lot less hair on his head twenty years ago. Like Biden, he did something about his baldness. Ya cannot be a glib globalist with half a head of hair. You must go full bald (Bezos, Schwab) or go get plugs. The second clue was his naming one of his kids a series of numbers. (Not anything normal like Moon Unit or Dweezil, like Frank Zappa, he of happy memory.)
Why do people cheer him on? It all makes me twice as suspicious.
Yes! So nice to hear another person who is not mesmerized by Musk!

i don't think it was ever about saving the world from disease - seemed like he was pursuing a nobel prize while pushing depopulation
Tesla and Space X are not WEF members, though, and Musk has been the devil of news cycles for well over a decade.

school play! Haha. Yes. It's all scripted junk.
Do we look that stupid? We must look really stupid.
Genius and good aren’t necessarily synonymous.
Musk is obviously very good at something. I’m just not sure it’s what people think it is.
Your commentary is so bang on and gave me a good chuckle.

Nailed it! lol

Haha! I never knew about the hair thing! I guess I haven't paid close enough attention. That's funny. YES on the kid name thing! Child abuse.
child named after a secret CIA project a-12
i like his openness about depopulation being a bad idea
maybe he's one of the good guys that goes to the billionaire meetings
personally i think he / rogan need our support and protection lol
He wants to go to Mars and that's a great idea.
Haha! Indeed. Let's send him!
lovely. succinct. true. little gem.
LOL! Well said.
Yes! Thank you.
