Happy Monday!
After four full days of driving I reached my destination on the east coast of the US on Saturday evening. West Virginia is simply beautiful this time of year with the flowering redbud and dogwood. It’s too dangerous to take pictures while navigating winding mountain roads and driving a 12,000 lb. vehicle, so here are some lovely samples of the constant scene from southwestern Ohio onward, from other photographers:
I’m getting settled, visiting with family, and working in the garden. As such, I’m about 100 Substack articles and 10 hours behind on reading, not to mention my own writing!
As for the pipeline, in the next few weeks I plan to upload about a dozen read-alouds of past articles for paid subscribers, plus a half dozen or so new articles congealing in my mind. I just need time and the creative moment to strike.
In the meantime, please bear with me as I get caught up. Feel free to leave your comments, discussion points, and other thoughts below!
Comments should be polite, well-reasoned, and relating to the topic at hand (if there is one). Passion is allowed when directed at the subject matter, not me or another commenter. Spam and rude comments are deleted.
