This reminds me of my first nights in Barbados. I arrived there to start a new job working for Big Oil... my temporary hotel was in a tourist area, with a karaoke bar downstairs. Sleep was not an option. I will forever associate that place with horrible renditions of Kenny Rogers' The Gambler. I cannot imagine this on top of dealing with cancer treatment, though... bless you both.

Is is true that fevers can cause spontaneous remission of cancer? My husband died from cancer 14 years ago and I had heard about a treatment in Germany that raised body temperature to combat cancer. He died within 3 weeks of diagnosis, so we never got him home to try anything that might work. If you don’t wish to talk about, I definitely understand. Thank you.
I was pretty sure it worked. One of his nurses told me she had had a spontaneous remission after a fever. Like I said though, he never left the hospital alive, so no alternative to hospital protocol.

They most certainly can and I do wish to talk about it and I will be doing so!
Hyperthermia has a strong history of use in Germany for multiple reasons.
