I'm genuinely curious to know how long the maskers will continue in the face of what is becoming open mockery.

It's nice to see the shoe on the other foot. Last year walking around in Thailand mask less I just got these mean blank stares. It reminded me of the Avicci music video "So wake me up when it's all over"

From Thais or tourists?

Thais mostly. They made it a racist thing early in the pandemic about how dirty, facemask shunning, bar girl seeking farang were all Covid carriers and the reason everybody was dying in America and Europe, while Asia was Covid zero because facemask compliance

I was asking that question 18 months back, and still, they mask-up harder. Where I live, in Rochester, NY, the public transit agency is *still* requiring masks, although I can sense that many, if not most, people know it's lunacy to do so or wear one.

Plenty of covidians still wearing masks in big metro areas... I was in NYC two days ago and airport etc. are full of them. However, no one is enforcing compliance with any rules.

Impossible to tell in practice whether the rules are still in effect or not.

I have been craving a visit to "The Apple" for many months! I have been concerned that as an unvaxxed, unmasked, covid-carrier--damned-near a leper--I would be chased down the street by New York's finest, only to end up needing someone to rescue me from Riker's Island. You made out okay, apparently!

You still see cultists alone in their cars with their windows rolled up and muzzles strapped to their faces, but indeed mask enforcement is basically over as far as I can tell. I haven't experienced pushback in months. It seems enough people know it's absurd that even if they're willing to comply themselves out of timidity, they're not willing to demand others do so; while at the same time there are enough of us who are heartily sick of it, and only too willing to rip off someone's head (metaphorically, I swear) if someone gets in our faces. Even the true believers don't generally have the emotional energy to demand compliance after they've gotten a good shouting at a time or three.

It’s the equivalent of having a “Science is real” sign on your lawn.

It is very, very good. We have always had these people amongst us. Until now we simply didn't know. We've seen their work throughout the ages: witch hunts, pogroms, ethnic cleansing, riots - and all knee-jerk irrational violence - but we never had clear evidence before of who they were, where they were, how many of them there are.

Now we can let this clear and certain knowledge guide our steps in the future. We walk amongst these. They represent a clear and present danger. Should the insane forces within government decree we all lose all liberty overnight; be compulsorily tagged with microchip ID's, have our bank accounts and properties sequestered if we don't obey, be subjected to periodic 'prophylactic' home detention even when it is known we are not ill and there's bugger all proven illness out there and this wouldn't in any case be an effective way to treat (Shanghai anyone?) - all of these and more - these people would overwhelm us and promote the govt edicts and it all would happen to us.

Let your mind run free, nothing is too terrible to be the truth, we see now. If the govt declared all the above, which is in fact only today's existing situation when you assemble together the happenings here and there then you can wildly imagine some dissenters running free in the streets, right?

Broken out from their apartments. Fled. Now hunted by government. No money. No home. Fugitives. Now get really wild - if the govt decreed that those people are so antisocial and so sick with this mythical virus that they're wildly contagious that they need to be immediately immobilised on sight by shooting with a taser or something.... then you can easily see that happening right now, can't you?

And how about if they then said in the interests of 'safety' that the areas they touched needed 'sterilizing' and started killing and burning the bodies - could you see that?

Well could you see it if we think of it as removing the captured dissenters and taking them to 'camps', couldn't you ?

Where they never return from?

99% of the above happens now.

And we can't stop it. Because of the weight of 'them'.

We must be careful how we go.

I travelled on Saturday, with 2 small kids, one of which had a cough like kids often do. You should see the looks we got as I let them run around the airport to get out their energy before the flight. But the kids loved it, even made some friends.

I found it funny that most of those that were religiously wearing their N95 knockoffs at the beginning had mostly given them up by the end of the 5 hour flight 🤣

See my Newsletter #2. "TIN FOIL HAT TIME"

Can you wear a full coverage Moto helmet (lined with tin foil of course) on an airplane?

You can't wear one while driving a car here in the southeast, they say it "restricts vision, hearing, and increases fatigue."

I always knew they were trying to get rid of not motorcycles, but motorcyclists.

Here in Oz & NZ it's 95% masked on planes still. I am often only one of one or two unmasked. But the woman next to me on my Wellington - Brisbane flight wanted to take hers off, but wasn't allowed to. But a simple "I'm exempt" gets you off the mask mandate in both countries.

Window and Aisle passengers get it. And I empathize with middle seat person, who has found an effective way to dissociate. Also, that is a very cool jersey. As best I can tell it is for a minor league hockey team, whose colors appear to be black and purple normally.
