Due to the PREP act (unconstitutional as it is) and the fact that this was a DOD operation, they simply ignored all the rules. Because they could. Pfizer’s defense (partially) in the Brook Jackson trial was (1) we did nothing wrong (2) but if we did something wrong it was not intentional (3) but if we did something wrong and it was intentional we are still not liable because we just did what the government told us to do.
It’s a nice thought (consulting) but I retired from anything remotely connected to a WC job in 2008. Doing that again holds no interest for me.
Don't you think that info would help the various legal efforts around this issue? And couldn't you charge a pretty penny for consulting?
